Q: What should I expect after I make an appointment? How can I prepare?

A: You will receive an email confirming your appointment. Depending one when you submitted your request, you will be emailed a meeting link and some items you might want to have ready. We suggest being by a desktop/laptop for your appointment to best collaborate and make the most of our time. We suggest blocking one hour for this initial appointment.

If you are meeting for resume and cover letter assistance, please have the items listed below ready.

We will ask you for the following:

  • Email a copy of your resume to carol@marchangroup.com
    • if you do not have one, please have a list of your work and volunteer experiences as well as other achievements you might have received.
  • A list of your references (professional and personal) if you want it included in a similar format.
    • include title, company, email address and phone number
  • A list of any certifications you have obtained or are in the process of obtaining
  • A list of skills you have used for work, including any technical and software skills
  • If you have a specific job in mind and are specifically crafting this resume and cover letter please also have the following available:
    • Email a screenshot or PDF file format of the job description, in its entirety.
      • We will need the company name and job title position. We will do the research for the rest of the CV specifics.

If you are meeting for interview assistance, you will be asked for the following:

  • Email a screenshot or PDF file format of the job description, in its entirety.
  • Describe your area(s) of trouble
  • Date of your interview
  • Interviewing platform (virtual platforms: Zoom/Teams/Skype or in-person)

Q: What happens after my appointment?

A: Depending on your type of appointment, you will receive detailed instructions on your next steps or when you will hear back from the Group. This also depends on your urgency, we work well with deadlines and produce stellar results.


Q: What if I do not have a resume?

A: That is perfectly fine. We work with students, adults, veterans and transitioning workers and can create one for you to fit your needs. Create a list of your work and volunteer experience.
